Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your Undefeated Teams account and the personal information associated with it. You do not need to install the app to make this request — use the form at the bottom of this page, or email privacy@undefeatedteams.com.

If you have the app

You can delete your account directly from the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. That is the fastest route. This page exists for people who cannot or would rather not use the app.

What deleting your account does

Removed from the service

Your login is disabled and your account and profile stop being available in Undefeated Teams. You will no longer appear to your teams, and you will not receive notifications or messages.

Recoverable for 30 days

For 30 days after the request we can restore the account if you tell us you changed your mind. Contact us at privacy@undefeatedteams.com within that window. After it, we do not restore accounts.

Kept, and why

Some records are not removed:

  • Athletic records.Statistics, highlights and game footage stay attached to the athlete's playing history rather than to a login, so a player keeps their record when they change teams or close an account. Tell us in your message if you want your footage removed as well and we will cover it in our response.
  • Records of parental consent. Where a parent or guardian consented to us collecting information about a child, we keep an unalterable record that the consent was given, because we have to be able to demonstrate it.
  • Records we are required to keep by law, or to prevent fraud, resolve disputes and enforce our terms.

Our Privacy Policy describes how long we keep information and why.

Deleting a child's information

Children under 13 do not have their own accounts — a parent or guardian sets them up and acts for them. If you are a parent or guardian, you can use this form to ask us to delete your child's profile and information. Say which child you mean in your message, and use the email address you gave us so we can confirm who you are.

If you are the only guardian recorded for a child who is still on a team, tell us — we will not remove a child's last guardian automatically, because that would leave them on a team with no adult responsible for them.

How long it takes

We respond to deletion requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner. If we cannot delete something you have asked about, we will tell you what we kept and why.
